Kukup

Kukup is a fishing village at the coast of malaysia.it is very prominently known for the houses on stilts.my cca npcc had organised a bonding trip in kukup for 2 days and 1 night but sadly only 7 of us signed up for the trip.maybe it was a blessing in disguise as we had more fun then if the squad decided to go.

::the first day::

we arrived at school at aroud 8.30 and boarded this small but cozy little bus.the trip took around 1-2hrs.we had a fabulous seafood lunch which was rather spicy,much to my disappointment.then we were brought to this house on stilts that belonged to a local village who rents out her house to tourists.We had a short break and went out to explore the village.We tried the Ais Kacang which also known as ice ball.I made a fool out of myself when i accidently spilled the syrup on jia min's hand!We then went back to the house for yet another rest and games including stress,dai di and bridge.The ma'ams even played majong but refused to teach us how to play and we were just building towers out of the tiles and looking stupid.Then everyone got tired of playing and decided to sit down and listen to the ma'ams who were now singing karaoke
and jia ying ma'am couldn't reach the high note and lagged off.We had a good laugh that day.We then had a barbeque dinner while seeing the mudskippers crawl around and we ate so much because jia ying m a'am implemented the weight-of-food-in-grams-left-on-table-equal-pumping plan.After dinner,we bathed and played cards or watched the movie(the eye 10) till 2am where most of us slept.I really couldn't sleep because i was a light sleeper and jolene kept snoring and rayseen had the tv on outside for the whole night.

::the second day::

I was the first to wake up next day. Jia min which was sleeping somewhere had been in the same position the whole night with her hands crossed in front of her and i found out she didn't move at all.I thought it was wierd but funny at the same time.We went to the jetty and boarded a boat on the tour along the village and the tour guide's kelong(fish rearing area) where he introduced as to the many fishes and crabs in the kelong.He stuck some tissue on the plank over the angler fish pond and we saw the fish starting to shoot the tissue down which was very cute.They never missed even one of the paper.There were two dogs in the kelong and one of them kept licking peoples' legs.Then we had another seafood lunch(which was not so spicy =) )and we're off to city square where we shopped.As jolene and i were the heavyweights(the fattest and heaviest)we had a hard time in the street wear stores till our TO saved us. My self esteem has already dropped to -100 by that time already.We shopped around a bit and boarded the bus to go home...
