quickly dressed and set off for HTA
normal time to reach HTA-30mins
today-15mins
my dad was freaky
i think he only slowed down to 90 once because there was a speed camera but the rest of the time was about 100- 130 >o<
so sheena and i reached HTA at 8.15 =.-
everest was locked so we had to wait till some FI opened the door
waiting with us were the OBS personnel
so we were counted as the first :DD
sheena was tired so she napped for a while while i read her newspaper
inflation again. zzz

more people and familiar faces arrived
then finally the room was opened at 9+

The briefing was really informative
i really want to go but at the same time i'm worried i cannot take it
i dun even understand what to pack

this adventure challenge consists of the crocker range and mt kinabalu
we'll spend 5-6 days in the crocker range(also considered as the land xp)
and the terrain is so bad that we have to buy trekking or hiking boots
and they costs like $100-$150 =.-
no money nah. ):
furthermore, we have to bring like tons of clothes
and also food

there mostly probably won't be kayaking/sailing
if there is, it will be only for half a day

lastly Mount Kinabalu!
looking forward to that (:
but we'll have to buy winter stuff
all my ka-ching will leave me if i do that
so i think i'll try to borrow it from somewhere
and i'm afraid i'll get altitude sickness
but we'll climb during the night so that we can catch the sunrise ((:
(that's why i persuaded my mum to buy a camera with that $1003 voucher she won :P)

then stapled in the folder was a packet of medicine =.-
anti-malaria tablets
so i think malaria is serious in malaysia
but it also can mean that there's a lot of mosquitoes
or maybe sand flies too (remember wei ting's hand :/ )

then we left HTA, took the bus to boon lay then mrt-ed home
had something i would call a heart-to-heart session
i really understood more about sheena after that
as in i dun really talk to her this much during normal trainings
so i think we will really click together during the after those 11 days of fun

I don't know whats up with you these days
but you used to be the most enthu and happiest person around
now you seem less eager to participate
remember, that day when i got my NCO posting
you were the one that geared me on
encouraging me to do my very best when i am not good at accounting
that's why i have always looked up to you as my jie.
and i still look up to you now!
