“Journey to the East”

Inter-Unit Competition 2008

Brief description of the competition:

  1. This is a game similar to that of Monopoly, except that it requires teams to move to various stations.
  2. Teams will roll the dice provided and advance to the next station, according to the number indicated on the dice, and the sites indicated on the given map.
  3. At each station, teams will complete the activity given in order to earn points.
The team with the most points accumulated at the end of the game will be the winner.

*Participating teams would be briefed in detail on the actual day*

Program of the event is as follows

2.30pm – 2.45pm Registration of teams

2.45pm – 3.00pm Briefing on the rules and regulations

3.00pm – 5.30pm “Journey to the East” BEGINS!

5.30pm – 5.45pm Break

5.45pm – 6.00pm Prize presentation

Rules and Regulations

  1. The Competition is open only to Secondary 1 and 2 cadets in NPCC Units

  1. The competition will only take place if there is a minimum of 6 participating teams. Each team consists of 6 participants and a minimum of 2 female participants.

  1. Only a maximum of 12 teams are allowed to participate.

  1. Each NPCC Unit is allowed to send only one entry.

  1. Participants are to complete all required fields. Incomplete forms will be considered void.

  1. Should there be any further enquiries or clarifications to be made, please feel free to contact us at the above email.

  1. Units that wish to participate are to submit both reply slip and registration form (On Page 4 and 5) by Monday, 31st March 2008.

  1. Confirmation of participation of units, as well as further details of the competition would be sent to the respective Teacher-in-Charge by Wednesday, 2nd April 2008

  1. The Organising Committee reserves the right to cancel the competition for any reason that may not be disclosed.

  1. The Oranising Committee will not be responsible for any mishaps that may have occurred during the activities.

  1. The Organising Committee reserves the right to amend any of these clauses under Rules and Regulations without prior notice to participants.

HEY HEY. everybody join it!! It's really really fun! Single sex units can tender their registrations too! CLOSING DATE-MONDAY

It's a good opportunity for lower sec cadets to have fun!Take a break from trainings and if you win, you gain honour for your school! :D there will be free goodie bags for all participating teams.
